Representing the Loch a tuath community since 1933. Back Football and Recreation Club (BFRC) is a volunteer-run organization.
As the premier football centre for grassroots football in our community, our facilities include a community centre, golf driving range, indoor sports arena, a football pitch, and a community gym.
We offer a variety of community sports, clubs, classes, and recreation activities, with facilities available for public hire.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
BACK FC NEW SENIOR SQUAD MANAGEMENT TEAM
We would like to welcome the new Senior squad management team ahead of the 2026 Season.
We welcome James Macleod as Manager along with James Titch Morrison and Michael Maciver as assistant managers.
"I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to manage the Back FC team for the season ahead with Michael Maciver and James Titch Morrison in to help run the team and also as great additions to the playing squad. "
On the coaching team supporting James, he said:
"Michael is a great guy to have about and he knows what Back FC is about. Titch has the experience of managing in the league last season too which is a great asset to us at Back FC. "
What are the Managers aims for the 2026 season?
"Our aim is to win every game we play but the priority is to retain the League title for the first time since 1947 and to mount a serious challenge in the Highland Amateur Cup competition".

What's happening at Back Football & Recreation Club?
Our Facilities
All Weather Pitch
The all-weather enclosed sports arena, which officially opened in May 2016, features a 3G pitch suitable for various community sports. This facility serves as a premier football centre for the local Football Club.
Hire cost: £70 per hour.
Community Gym
Our community sports facility is open 24 hours a day, Monday to Saturday, all year round.
We offer both powered equipment and a weights area, perfect for various recreation activities.
Membership costs just £70 per year.
Golf Range
Indoor Hall
Our community sports facility features a self-service golf range, perfect for recreation activities.
You can purchase tokens from Gordon's filling station or Spar for just £3.50 for 50 balls

The indoor hall at the community sports centre is a large multi-purpose sports hall, approximately the size of five badminton courts. It can be used for various activities such as badminton, basketball, and netball, as well as events hire.
Hire cost: £40 per hour.
Games room
Our games room is a fantastic chill-out space within our community sports hub. Enjoy a variety of recreation activities including Darts, Pool, Table Tennis, Foosball, and board games. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a visit to our Football Centre or Gym.
Hire: £15 per hour
Events, Activities and Groups
Keep an eye out for our regular offers at the Football Club, which include community sports like our Youth Club, Carpet Bowls, Archery, and Fitness with Sharon. We also host Boxing for Fitness sessions, a Knit and Sew group, and Toddle In, all part of our diverse recreation activities at the Gym.
